The requirements for this are: - skill - 5800 HP for anyone in the fight - stat potions - gear
As for the fight, it happens like this:
100%-65% : Phase 1 Phase 1 is basically just phase 2 with a few more (important) mechanics. Bouquet, Vines, Bloody Caress stay unchanged. A few stacks of Bloody Caress are worth 5+ stacks of normal Turn 6, though. So make sure you tank swap properly. Anyway, there problems we will be facing are:
1/ Phase 1 is a strict DPS check, just like Phase 2. We can not afford to have more than 2 stacks on the boss. A bee will spawn after the first rotation, which means we will have one honey. A second honey spawns 2 rotations later. We can NOT afford t have a second honey, which would either mean a second stack or a transitions with bees. This is why we will have to be DPSing with all we have so we can push raff before the second honey.
2/ Bulbs. If the boss is near a bulb, it will gain a defense stack, which will stop use from having a clean transition (aka pushing the boss before 2nd honey). this is why the tanks will have to be VERY aware if a bulb is in the middle, and move the boss to one of the safe sides as soon as possible so to not waste DPS. What you have to remember for tanks is: - Bulb not in middle? Stand right there and DPS - Bulb in middle? Look around quickly and move the boss, resume DPSing No, we will NOT be touching the bulbs. ever. Keep dpsing on Raff at all costs.
3/ 360° Devour. You got it: no more line of sight, and no more standing behind the boss even. When we start having win runs, we will have to make sure NO ONE other than the honey target gets eaten during the first phase. One stack is already hard to heal. What you need to do in order to dodge it is simple: get away from the boss. This includes tanks. When you know the mark is going to disappear, you HAVE to get away from the boss (for melee and tanks). When Raff starts the Devour animation, you are usually safe to run back to her. So, where to run to, you say? 2 scenarios here : - Bulb in midddle: Devour target runs to the middle bulbs, everyone runs to the sides. - Bulb not in middle: I will say left or right before the mark even happens. If I say for example "go to the left", that means the marked person will have to run in the briar on the left (from behind the boss point of view), but it will also mean everyone else will have to run to the right instead. It seems simple in itself, but everything takes a bit of practice.
A few screehshots to illustrate all of this:
This is the first scenario. I will say "to the right", and the person with the devour target will go to the right, while everyone goes on the left. simple enough. This is only if we don't have any bulb in the middle.
Second case scenario. Tank will move boss to the right to evade the bulb debuff, marked person will run to the middle to evade floral trap, and the rest of the party to the sides. That's it!
That's it for the first phase. Will update later, but would be cool if we could get to the second phase without trouble. I will leave this here though, it will come in handy. Credits to da bokchov
