Many people on Sarg probably already know this, and not too many people will care about or read this, but the static was "disbanded" last week.
I would like to thank each and every person that participated and contributed to the static's sucess. People that joined us, eventually left, or just helped us when we were in need of players when someone was missing.
The static was originally led by Lawless, who stopped the game around the end of June. As such, I'd like to thank the original members:
Lawless,
Matt,
Tapko,
Vanna,
Electro,
Jaq,
Scorpy,
and myself.
Also to the people who joined us later on…
Celi,
Luna,
Ricardo,
Ilya,
Talinya.
I was determined not to let the static just die and tried to motivate people when Lawless left, but it wasn't so easy in the end. While we did clear Turn 9 before most people, people grew uninterested in the game and that's ultimately what led the static to what it is today most likely. While I really wish we did Savage and worked as a group, after a lot of thinking and talking it was not possible. I most definitely have a part of responsibility in this: replacing Celi so we could do Savage was a mistake on my end, because ultimately, people were not interested in doing Savage.
That being said, I'd like to thank everyone that has participated in the static in 2.2 and 2.3 in any way and put a real end to the site. Thanks everyone!
